"it’s unhealthy to let another human being become “your entire world.” people are unpredictable. you never know when someone will leave you or just feel differently about you. and that’s not a crime. that’s just life. i don’t want someone to promise me forever. i don’t want someone to promise me anything they can’t keep. i don’t want to know where someone is at every hour of the day, every person they talk to, every thought they have. i don’t want to wait up for someone’s call or text every night and then get pissed when they forget because they were enjoying themselves and doing something with their lives. i just want someone who i can confide in and share my dreams and thoughts and ideas with. i want someone who’s passionate about something, anything. i want someone who cares about me and sees something special in me that they don’t with other people. i want a real connection with somebody without having to devote every aspect of my life to them. and i certainly don’t want to be anybody’s “entire world.” that’s too much pressure."
